Wifi Directory Information

A wifi directory is basically a collection of wifi hotspots, or public places where you can enjoy wireless Internet access with your laptop.

I recently realized just how handy a listing of wifi hotspots can be following a hurricane. That hurricane, among other things, caused me to be without power at my house for several days. You don't realize just how dependent upon the Internet you are for certain information.

So, what's a wifi hotspot? Basically, it's a place where you can take your laptop and enjoy wireless Internet access. As long as you have either built-in wireless, or a wireless adapter of some kind, you should be all set.
